I am Donghoon Kim, a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Arkansas State University.

My research interests include cybersecurity, machine learning, cloud computing, cyber-physical systems, parallel and high-performance computing, and biomedical data analytics. My recent research focuses on website fingerprinting attacks and defenses in anonymity networks, machine learning-based security applications, and genome-based prediction of antibiotic susceptibility.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University under the supervision of Dr. Mladen A. Vouk. I earned my M.S. from Auburn University. Before beginning my doctoral studies, I worked as a software engineer at Samsung Electronics in the Republic of Korea.

Openings: I am seeking self-motivated graduate students, particularly M.S. students, and undergraduate students who are interested in research. Prospective students should email me a résumé or CV, a brief introduction, and a short description of their research interests.
